Influenced by his active, sports-loving parents, Gary grew up in Central Indiana with a lifelong passion for athletics. Early exposure to sports like golf and tennis sparked his interest in a variety of athletic pursuits. He excelled in both beach and indoor volleyball, continuing to play competitively well into adulthood. As a USAV Indoor Volleyball player, Gary made over 12 trips to the USAV Nationals, demonstrating his commitment to team sports and competition. Alongside volleyball, he remained an avid competitive tennis player and longtime USTA member. His passion for racket sports naturally extended to paddle sports, making pickleball a seamless progression. Gary now thrives as both a player and instructor, eager to share his love for tennis and pickleball. He is dedicated to teaching new players, families, and kids, and encouraging people of all ages to embrace and enjoy racquet and paddle sports.
