Deep Drill Aerification | Sunday March 1st
Dear Members,
It is that time of year again to welcome our Deep Drill crew out for the annual deep drill aerification. Usually we have ended tee times off of number 1 in the early afternoon on Sunday and then finishing up on Monday morning. I have been looking at the upcoming forecast and it does not look good for the upcoming week. The outlook is showing that we could receive over 5 inches of rain between the upcoming Monday-Wednesday time frame. The best option for us is to start early on Sunday and possibly get finished before all of the rain gets here. If everything becomes wet, the clean up process becomes very difficult and messy.
With that being said, I will have to close the front nine on Sunday morning (3/1/2020) and hope that we can move behind the machines fast enough to get it open before the first groups are making the turn. After finishing the front nine, I will close the back 9 for the remainder of the day. I hope that this does not cause too much of an inconvenience, but it is a necessity to get this done. Thank you all for your support and patience through this process.
Best Regards,
Justin Browning
